Everything Bible Explained Study gives you

The app is organized around four calm, focused spaces — Read, Reflect, Journey, and Library. Here's what each one does, and how it supports understanding Scripture.

The Reflect screen in Bible Explained Study asking “What is on your heart?”, with today's reflection on Isaiah 46:4, a reflection question, and a field to bring a verse or question.
Reflect

Begin where you are

Reflect is where study begins: with a passage, a doubt, a prayer, or a quiet question. Bring whatever you are carrying, and each day the app also offers a reflection drawn from your recent study — a short, Scripture-grounded reading with a gentle question, and the invitation to stay with the verse a little longer.

Use it when: a passage feels unclear, something is weighing on you, or you simply want a quiet place to start.

A Study Reflection in Bible Explained Study showing what you brought, a gentle reading grounded in Matthew 6:19–20, the Scripture woven in, and questions to carry forward.
Study Reflections

A gentle reading for every question

Each reflection answers what you brought with a calm, plain-language reading grounded in the text itself — never opinion or speculation. The Scripture it draws on is woven in and shown alongside, and every reading ends with questions to carry forward, so the answer becomes something to sit with rather than skim past. Keep the ones that matter, or share them beautifully.

Use it when: you want to understand what a passage actually says and means — and let it linger.

The Journey screen in Bible Explained Study: a searchable, month-by-month record of reflections, each with its Scripture references and the option to keep it close.
Journey

Your study journey, held quietly

Journey is a quiet place to return to the questions, passages, and insights that have been shaping your study. Reflections are grouped by month, searchable by a verse, a theme, or a moment you remember, and the ones you keep stay close. Your progress is never lost between sessions.

Use it when: you want to revisit a reflection that helped, or notice what you've been drawn to study.

Marked Passages in the Bible Explained Study Library: bookmarked passages like Psalms 150:1–6, Romans 9:9–11, and Proverbs 3:5–6, grouped by chapter.
Library

Marked passages, kept close

The Library holds what you've chosen to keep: passages you've marked while reading, grouped by book and chapter with their text at a glance, alongside the reflections you've kept from your study. It becomes a growing, personal collection of what has mattered most — easy to return to for a future devotional, lesson, or quiet moment.

Use it when: you want to gather what's been meaningful, or build toward a personal study.

Read — distraction-free Scripture

The Read space presents Scripture in a clean, uncluttered view, free of ads or unrelated content. While reading, you can mark a passage for your Library or carry a verse into Reflect without ever losing your place. It's built for people who want to spend time in the text itself, whether that's five quiet minutes or a full chapter.

Use it when: you're doing a daily reading, working through a book, or want a calm space with no distractions.

Sharing — send an explanation, not your question

The Share action turns a reflection's explanation into a polished, branded page on the Bible Explained Study website — the kind of page that reads well in a text message or social share. These pages are unlisted on our site: there is no public directory, feed, or archive of shared pages, and your original question is never shown — only the polished explanation. Anyone with the link can read it, external search engines may index it, and you can disable the link at any time from the app.

Use it when: an explanation would genuinely help a friend, family member, or small group.
